has anyone used this bull, and how did you like him. i talked to a guy that has some sons out of angus cows, says he really likes the calves.

good bull to make balancers, look at his dad a good bull also. they cross well

We've got a few daughters and a couple granddaughters out of Fortune. Though our experience is very limited, we have been pleased with the cows. They calve easily, have good dispositions, raise a nice size calf, and rebreed...just what a cow is suppose to do. However, they are not the prettiest cows in the pasture, since most of them have more leather up front and maybe a tick flatter muscled compared to other Gelbvieh, though probably more muscled than the average Angus.
