We got some of it--most must have slipped off to the East, but to be honest, ours all came from the SW. I sat out on the back porch and watched it build till the rain ran me inside. Got about 1.5" of rain and needed it bad.
We missed a bad one yesterday tho. Black as I've ever seen it around 2pm and wind. Got hail yesterday in town and maybe 10 drops out here.
 
Got a half inch today and 2/10ths yesterday. Also a half inch Saturday morning. Oats and ryegrass going to love that!

Darn vette, have you had a 1" rain in the last 10 years? It seems like you never get much.

Got 2.5 inches today and another inch over the last couple.
It came down so hard today looked like a waterfall.
 
Must have had quite a storm in town yesterday morning, or the night before--I went for groceries yesterday afternoon, and there were still flood borne leaves and pine needles all over the road leading out to the Dayton highway, and HEB was closed due to their computers being down from a voltage surge when the power went out---Walmart had zero frozen foods in any of their coolers with signs saying a power outage was the cause.
No Bluebell, no meats, no frozen veggies--just chilled dairy, juice and 'fresh' meat.
