From what I read in their catalog just part of the plan as they made 2000 plus embryos in the last year plus. They turn generations fast and this is how you do that.

We have some high profile breeders here that do similar. They have lots of embryos stored and will sell the entire herd over 2 years of age. Buyers flock to the sale as they know everything is for sale, not just the culls. Great way to raise capital.

I think their catalog/website said they did the same thing or similar back in 2000.

It proves that a single animal is far less important than the DNA harvested from that animal in the form of embryos/semen/eggs.

At the grocery store last night, basically everything was in stock, except fresh beef.
