They have put me under a gag order, at work. Oh No! This may be the hardest thing I have ever had to do!

We're not supposed to use negative humor in the work place. I did. A guy quipped at me in a group setting. I quipped back. Everyone laughed and laughed at my jest. He got his feelings hurt. Turned me in. He went in with a laundry list. He played the R card too. Got me in deep poop.

There is much more to this whole story. This has happened to others and there have been law suits in the past. So the entire job site is in a buzz about it and everyone is playing me out to be the victim. The story has been distorted and even his version was wrong.

As far as the quip fired back at him, its been used here on this forum.

I can't believe what's become of all this. Maybe I can give ya'll specific details later.

The sad thing BH is how you ment it makes no difference, its only how THEY take it that counts. Political correctness is going to be the death of the work place. Before long we are going to have helmet devices that monitor our words so no one can be offended. :bang: :bang:
 
Mangement has to take action Isom. They cannot let this go. I understand that. I expect that. It was outside of our "code of conduct".

My hubby doesn't see the humor in "OFFICE" and all the weird shyt and back-stabbing that happen in that show. I tell him he can't appreciate it because he's never worked in an office! Hope this all shakes out okay for you, Boogie.

That's discusting if he quiped at you first, he should be able to take back what you give him, even if it is funnier than his. My motto has been 'if you can't take it don't dish it', it so annoys me when they do that, some have chips on there shoulders bigger than bolders. I feel in this day and age of people wanting equality the R card should be thrown out once and for all. but I will stop now as things could get ugly.
