The Easter freeze got most, but not all the peaches. Upside is they are as big as baseballs.

My peach crop was a failure this year.

They were about the size of a big plum but very sweet.

Was looking at the apple trees yesterday...................

Out of 4 trees I have a total of one apple.

Good looking peaches! I'm ready for the peaches in my dad's orchard to be ready to pick, it should be soon.

I plan on putting together several peach cobblers and freezing them. Of course, I'll have to bake one right away, and make a batch of home ice cream to go with it. ;-)

Wet weekend, so I've canned everything in sight, or put it in the deep freeze.

I just got done putting up 12 jars of red plum jam, and still have more plums to put up.

Those are real pretty. Did you have to spray them a lot for bugs and diseases?

Fred, yeah you have to spray to limit insect damage. I use generic Pounce(permethrin). Spray once a week starting when the buds swell. Do that for four or five weeks max and you'll have very little insect damage.
