I was browsing a canadian board this morning and the farmers were upset that they were paying $1.07 for gas and $1.13 for diesel. I don't know if it was for a lieter or gallon. I still can not figure out what they were complaining about. I just filled my pick up and paid $3.35 for diesel.
 
Yeah thats a litre. So per US Gallon that amounts to $4.18 Cdn /US gallon for diesel. At todays exchange rate thats around $4.25 US/US Gallon.

Given that most of our crude comes from our own soil, I'd say we got alot to bitch about...

Thanks for the info. I guess they have a reason to complain. Remember the Alaskan pipe line ? Wasn't that the cure for our oil shortage?
