We just got finished with hay for the year and since it is late we decided to make baleage out of it, first time for us. Someone asked me if I was sure that the cows would be fine eating the baleage in the winter time when it is sort of frozen because I guess if it was sheep they can't handle it and can died. So does anyone know if there is any problems that I should be careful of with the baleage.

never had any trouble with it in the winter ,may get hard around the outer layer, but loosens up when you drop it in feeder. And if you slice it ,you should'nt have any trouble.
