Went back and read most of the post re: frost seeding clover and still wondering when I should fert, I'm going to hold off on the N, cause I dont want the grasses to blow the clover out of the water. I did the soil test last fall and did almost what was recommended (reduced by 25%) after all they are in the business of selling fert. This is a pasture that gets moderate heavy grazing pressure. Mixed forage grasses for the great lakes states. Any body got any suggestions on when to next apply along with N? This is a primary grazing pasture. Thanks ahead of time for the replies.
