Yesterday was the start of the Fort Worth stock show. I usually attend a couple times during its run. They had the parade today downtown Fort Worth and my granddaughter rode in it. Over 2300 horses and tons of old wagons. Temps in the high fifties and low sixties. Lots of bands, drill teams, vaqueros, and of course cute kids riding their ponies. One older gentleman about my age, riding a beautiful bay mare was bucked off right in front of us. He was embarrassed but not hurt. He sure caught a lot of flack from his riding group.
