Was doing some researching while waiting till the next check, and came across this pro-vegetarian site, VegSource.

Some of the information sure had a fear-mongering anti-meat slant, especially this article comparing the US cattle industry to Nazis... :shock:

The sad part is that some people will believe these claims.

I was very suprised to recognise one of the members from this board as a contributer to this site - reams of information on 'Mad Cow'...very interesting to say the least.

Hmmm...was just checking the links and apologise as they don't seem to function when trying to access the articles from the link form with the exception of the homepage:

The BSE discussion can be accessed on the left hand tool bar under the heading of "mad cow".

And the article "Beef industry pays for sadistic anti-vegan study" is near the bottom of the homepage with the picture of a poor little starving child above it - here's a quote from the top of that article page:

"You may have heard about a study claiming that feeding a vegan diet to children is "unethical." What you may not have heard is that the "study" was paid for by the National Cattlemen's Beef Association. What's more the study itself was depraved and showed no regard for human life. Like Nazis experimenting on captives, the Cattle industry manipulated very slightly the diets of starving African children -- not to benefit the children but to try to produce some "scientific finding" which justifies meat-eating." :shock:
