fluid sack???

Hey all...new here.....looks like a great site........I have a question maybe you can help me with....about a month ago I noticed one of our cows had a sack full of fluid under the tail above the rectum about the size of a large apple.........the next day it ruptured and i didn't worry about it......but it came back and now I have another cow with the same problem...I've asked around but nobody has a clue what it is.......any ideas?

Did it rupture or just go away?

it ruptured.....was O.k. for about a week then filled up again.....my main concern is I now have 2 cow's with it.

What color is the bulg and the fluid? Pictures maybe???????????

That seems an odd place for a abcess but sounds like one, since it ruptured and then filled back up again, and now with another cow. Did the 2 cows frequent the same areas?
