My wife was after me for fishing tonight and sighting in guns tomorrow night not to mention saturday i'm going fishing /scouting. I said "it's October the fish are biting and deer hunting is about to get more legal"

The Fishing is really picking up after a real slow summer. Trout are touchy with warm weather. I got a nice brown last night.

I wish I could fish in Idaho angain. I flew out there with my fishing rod a few years ago and rented a car and just went wherever. I caught some nice trout as well. Pretty good for somebody who never used a fly rod or seen a trout. Thouroughly enjoyed it. By the way, do they raise a lot of cherries there? There was a fella selling them on the side of the road and I bought a big box of them for just a few dollars. Here, that amount would have cost me fifty bucks. I ate them till I couldn't stand it.

Beef11, have you ever fished the Snake for sturgeon? Now thats fun
While I was working on the INTEL plant in Portland, I caught an 8 1/2 footer in the Columbia :o I seen biger ones, but I hear that they don't compair to the ones in the Snake.
Good fishing,
Mac

They grow some cherries over by Boise on the east side of the state most of our Cherries come out of Brigham City Utah. Get out here and fish the south fork of the snake close to Rexburg and you will get some nice trout.

I think my father in law was on the intel project (union plumber in Portland) The sturgeon are below the American falls Dam and i fish the upper snake so i'm on different water. I really should get down there after them sometime. I really need a boat.
