Been trying to use a calving ease bull a keep low bw females with calving ease. Well a heifer decided to have problems when I have my own problems. One front leg was back under the calf. Kinda hard to pull a calf with one arm in a splint, thanks to a neighbor we got the calf out, kinda funny with one arm in the cow and not being able to do anything with thr other. We got it out it was alive, it got up and was standing. Not seen it nurse yet, hope it does, will have to check later. When I needs calving ease it lets me down, oh well.

A leg back ain't the bull's fault! ;>)
I know just my dumb luck, things go wrong when your down. Seems like somethings in the air, neighbor has has some calving problems or maybe its in the water.
Wife thought it was funny sight, me with my good arm in her and the other sticking out straight.

One more heifer to go then some cows, hope the rest go ok. Hope this calf makes it, it was a tough delivery for it.
