Was the calf already walking when you first saw it? It doesn't take a Longhorn calf long to start walking.

Heifer calf. She was up and walking when we got out there so maybe an hour or two old.

We go our first Longhorns in August and have two cows, a steer, and a young bull that we have half interest in.
