First hard frost

Was out all day preparing for a snow storm that is going to blow in tonight . We have been in the high 70's all week ,so not ready for winter . Sucky !!! :devil2:

We're having our usual last shot of nice, mid 60's and sunny, weather before winter sits in ...... Rain and wind which brings mud.

What's a winter garden? No such thing here

The ground freezes hard enuf here to heave fence posts out of the ground, so no winter garden for us either. I did leave my collards out for 10 days of pretty hard frost though and they are incredible.
