The cow I mentioned just had a heifer calf last night.. finally :)

I find the Limo calves have MUCH shorter ears than I'm used to.

That cow looks pretty deep and meaty for still having dairy in her.

Congrats. It's a huge joy when you get the calf you want.

Have only one Limox calf with tiny ears.

Yes, she's a good looking one as a half dairy. Have two her daughters left as replacements. One is a 5th calver and one is a breeding heifer,which has spent one week with a bull. This cow is an easy calver, had Simmental and Charolais calves born unassisted.
 
Finally arrived the calf which I've been waiting very much. Calved the cow, which is a dam of my own heifer. Now have one more lovely heifer. :)

That cow is 1/4Salers, 1/4Angus, 1/4BB, 1/4dairy. Now is one of the best cows in the herd. We have a nice group of heifers this year too. Now I would like to leave nearly all as replacements.
 
Finally calved one of the two left heifers. We were worrying about her the most, but found her with already dry heifer calf in the morning. :D

The 1st calver is out of BBxdairy cow, sired by homebred AngusxLimox bull. Heifer calf is sired by pure Limousine bull.

After looking at the elder threads have noticed that I haven't posted any of 2015th calves in this thread since spring. Decided that will post some last year photos now. They are from different time. Probably will take some photos of the calves now to show their progress. But first will show how they looked last year.






 





And here are photos of one of the last year born heifer. She's 15 months old and will be a replacement. She's still shaping up after a winter. Think about breeding her in winter or early spring. Will be bred by purebred Limousine bull.
