Had one of our heifers deliver her calf in the pond yesterday. Had to end up pulling her out of the pond, she couldn't walk on her hind quarters. Calf died. She's trying to get up today, vet gave her some steroids to get the swelling down, hopefully she'll be up before long. She's scootin around. First time we've had this to happen. Nice calf too.
