Has anyone had trouble downloading the flash player using firefox? Ihave tried this several times and it doesn't work, i read somewhere online that it is a problem for many but haven't been able to find a solution for it yet-
 
I bought a cheap computer, and windows and IE are the only things which will work on it. I absolutely hate Hewlett-Packard. They supply computers with intrusive. annoying software. The chairman and directors should be required to commit ritual suicide.

I can't stand their computers either but they do make some good printers.

Are you sure you are downloading the correct Flash for Firefox?
There are 3 kinds of Flash players.
1. ActiveX flash version for IE
2. A chrome version that is part of the Chrome browser.
3. A plug-in version for Mozilla Firefox.
You have to use #3 for Firefox.
(make sure you have an updated Firefox before trying to install the Firefox Flash plug-in.)
