Where have the fire ant gone? I keep an eye out for fire ants here on the MS Gulf Coast but haven't killed any in the last few months. Could it be the heat plus the lack of rain? Not complaining hope they all die.

We have them he as well. However I am seeing wasps struggling to find water. Went down to the pond last night and they were all over the bank of it. When they would leave they had what looked like a bead of water in their mouth. I guess carrying it back to the hive

They go deep in a drought , not to worry when it starts raining you will see them.

Well I found some in the breaker box in the boat shed earlier today.
Had to pull the main and clean all the breaker connections.
Plenty of fried ants breaker box sounded like a popcorn popper.
All the lights in the building were flickering.
They like electricity and the drier it gets the more they are drawn to it.
