finishing feed

Looking for a good finishing ration for some county fair steers. Currently feeding whole corn pretty much free choice, 1 to 1-1/2 lbs of Nutrena Nutrabeef 41% pellet and grassy hay. These steers leave for fair in a few weeks so I'm not too concerned about this year. However, it looks like corn may be pretty expensive next year and we want to explore our options to see if there's anything out there that will give us as good performance as what we feed now. Don't want the kids to commit to a project that they won't make money on. Prices at our fair are not high dollar so we aren't looking for anything too fancy like some of those "show" feeds that are out there. Just want real world feeds like would perhaps be used by big cattle feeders.
