Nice looking calf. How old is it in the pic? Is that out of a baldy cow? Sorry for all the questions. I was thinking of breeding my F-1's angus x herefords to either a black limi or beefmaster next year. I was told that the beefmaster would give me red or tiger striped calves which will bring alot less at the sales around here. Also told that beefmaster will give them the brama ear which is a big $ loser here also. She looks lke she'd pass for red angus to me.

will have to check records but i think shes 3.5-4 months, somewhere along in there. not out of a baldy cow, the mother is a solid black heifer 3/4angus 1/4 charolais.
if you breed your baldies to a beefmaster you will get red white face, black white face, and dark red calves mostly. probably more reds and red w/face. your calves will have 1/4 ear.
