Finally got cold enough for me to start up my wood stove with blower... this is the latest I have ever went without a fire in the winter is anyone else having the same experience?

Heck no!! I know it doesn't get down to zero here, but 20s & 30s with high humidity makes my bones hurt. Heat has been on since the middle of Dec, and I don't remember last time I saw that big ball of fire in the sky.
I hate winter--I hate it's guts and feathers.

GreyBeard I am with you about the winter. Has been a mild one here, but I am not liking this one either.
We have had our wood furnice going about 6 week now. Use it to heat water also. Have used very little wood.

Ain't nothing like crawling in bed with "mama" and she's got on her cotton drawers, long flannel gown and wool socks.
