we used to get one or two companies a year out filming for commercials or movies or catalogs, but it has been a while. couple of guys stopped by today - anybody have any idea what the going rate is these days?

I think we used to get 300/day for a small shoot, 600 for a full crew. But I just can't remember. And providing extra labor was excellent too, but that never happened much.

I got no idea, but I'm fixin' to get a hold of the producers of the "Simple Life" and see if I cant get that Hilton girl and her sidekick here to shoot some episodes. They could pet the Cows and have a good ol' time.I figure this place has got to be worth a thousand a day!

Only show ever wanted to film me was Jerry Springer. Turned out I wasn't classy enough.

Hippie Rancher: Can't answer your question, but if anyone does come to film at your place I'd be interested to hear about it.

I thought they were doing "Snakes on a train" next because they couldn't agree which was the best tractor to have snakes on

Whatever it is, it has to have a cab on it. Otherwise, they would all fall out.

Speaking of snakes, check these out - my sons found both of these within a couple hundred feet of each other the other day.

Yep, they wanted to shoot a porn flick at our place due to us still having the shagg carpet 'n all. I told 'em only if I could be in it. And pick the others in the flick.

I could have been the star of that movie once. Ran the tractor under a low hanging tree and a green snake fell onto my shoulder and into my lap. I got 10 years older almost instantly. Almost died

Hippie Rancher, I always thought I'd like to visit Arizona, but now that I see what you find in your backyard, I'm having 2nd thoughts...tarantulas, rattlers, and what's that third snake trying to eat the lizard?
