I have a Red Angus and a Black Angus bull of similar age and weight. I"ve had them in the same pasture with some cows (mostly bred) for about three weeks. They have been pushing and shoving the whole time. However, this morning the red bull had his tongue hanging out and was drrooling badly. he looked like he had been run through the desert. The black bull didn't even look tired.the black bull was just trailing afew feet behind the red one and if the red one stopped the black one started pushing. I'm afraid the red is going to wind up dead if this doesn't stop. What is going on here? Would nose rings help? Both bulls are about two years old and weigh 1500 or so pounds. Any tips on putting the nose rings on? I would like to hear from people with similar experiences and what the outcome was.
