Well, I took my 2 year old #5S heifer Mega (1350 lb) up from the field on Sunday and put her with her Auntie Rosie and cousin, a 900 lb yearling heifer Cenci, who's build like a brick outhouse, and was surprised at what I found, Mega and Cenci have real issues with each other, and the little girls doesn't like backing down. She goes head to head with Mega who's 50% heavier than her, and actually will put the run on her. I'll try and get a vid of it for next week if they haven't made amends by then. It's quite a show seeing such an 'unfair' fight and the outcomes. They're both spoiled brats and typically fight over attention from me

Truthfully Nesi I think Shorties are some of the most petty cows I have seen and they just get worse with age. I likem but they are a PIA to handle

This one has NO shorthorn in her, she's 1/4 herf, 1/4 Saler, 1/2 Gelbveih

We do have a bunch of PITA shorthorn cows though who are always picking fights

I don't have a problem handling them, they have a problem getting along with each other though
