Has any of you hereford breeders used this bull, or have seen him in person or know where I can find more information on him?

Does he have full pigment?

Reg no 41029907

iowahawkeyes has a son of him and I believe they like him. May want to talk with them.

KNERSIE, Tank is a darn impressive bull, thick, deep bodied, dark coated, and I think he has some pigment but not much, I think, I am not for sure.

This is the only pic I could find Knersie, don't know nothing about him though.

That is the picture I was looking for. Thanks CPL. There is another in the back of an AHA magazine that shows his rear too.

Those are two progeny from the bull from the AHA website.
iowahawkeyes has a picture of her bull somewhere in the photo gallery. I believe they use him on heifers and are very happy with the calves.

Here is a pic from 2 years ago.

I think he has pigment in only one eye, but I'll go check.

So far the only Achiever son that I've been able to find that I'd have interest in using. Reasonable price on semen and certs.

I've got just a few straws of Achiever semen and keep looking for a place to use it where I might produce my own son to use.

Someone from Canada posted in one of the forums I follow earlier about "Tank" and had some calves by him that they really liked.

And "farmguy" from Minnesota posted here at CT earlier that thay had a "Tank" son that they really liked.

Hereford U.S., Russ Tegtmeier has a son out of Tank that he owns with Topps, NJW, and one other owner. This Tank son is ID 45P, but I can't remember anymore of his name but his prefix is from NJW.

I don't have any experince with the bull myself, in fact I was going to use him a few years ago, but his birthweight epd scared me away. I talked to a couple guys where they did have some big calves on some higher bw cows. He is back on my radar as his birthweight epd is decreasing.

I visited with a guy just the other night who has used him quite a bit the past several years and he absolutely loves what he has done, in his herd. He has added thickness, stouness, rib and the females are really good uddered. He said that he hasn't taken pigment away, but I do know that his herd has a lot of pigment. Hope this helps.

I though that Ryan Topp is walking the bull right now. Didn't he buy him from Ned Ward this summer. However Lindsey the owner of Aberdeen in Newzealand has all the semen that has been collected this past summer. If this is the bull were talking about ask Ned or Ryan.

The bull Ryan Topp, NJW, and Tegtmeiers have is NJW FHF 9710 Tank 45P, very impressive bull. Kevin Jensen flushed one of his donors, I think he flushed his donor cow that is a full sister to Investor, to Tank 45P.
