Got my fertilizer spread today, finished, pastures drug, and a rain tonight and tomorrow. What I'm spreading this year is a solid from a process of superheating wastewater from food processing plants and extracting the oil, solids are a byproduct, very high in nitrogen and potash, and FREE! Even loaned me a spreader truck! Full of fuel.

It sure is Kenny. Wish I could score a deal like that. Good for you snoop. You ought to buy somebody a steak for that! Add you some chicken litter that’s high in phosphorus and you will be in high cotton. Let us know how you like it.

Friend of mine did something similar to this for years. It was monitored and tested and he had to keep the pH above a certain level and they would even spread lime for him if it needed it. It was a big savings for the company and was obviously good for him too. He never had any issues.

That's the plan, late summer application of litter, I have a connection there as well, it won't be free, but at cost.
