Feral dog

By far the best dog I have ever had. He strolls every now and then and has been gone four days now. I thought I heard him bark last night but have not seen him. I have been up the rode tonight looking for him.

A neighbor had a stroke, and his cattle was sold. He ended up with my cattle and I started feeding him. He hates coyote's and they don't mess around with him.

Well good news Sam has come home today as I was very worried. Probably out running after women. Looks like he has lost a few pounds.

Glad he is back. I used to worry so much about my hounds if they got separated from me for even a day or two,
sometimes it would seem like weeks.

We don't have feral dogs. Probably too far from town. An occasional neighbor's dog. But I know who they are and they aren't bothering anything. We do have some feral cats from time to time. Neighbor calls them ditch tigers. They must get dumped out here. We have 2 spayed barn cats. The closest person who has some cats is 4 or 5 miles away. If the ditch tigers cause trouble they get 22 removal.
