I can see myself putting both hands down on top of the posts and just kinda vaulting over.
It doesn't look very tall.

I wondered tho, does the turtle have to spend it's whole life without any shade?

At what age do they butcher the turtles?

The earliest evidence of "livestock " in north America dates back to the late Clovis, early archaic period. 9 -10,000 years ago. Turtles could easily be gathered and moved by nomadic hunter gathers and kept in rock fenced pens. When the mammoth or bison hunt failed, turtle soup it was.

There are 7 different kinds/types of meat in a big turtle and I can attest to the fact that one of them is blue colored.
( They are pretty nasty to clean too)
