They're heavy. Require big holes. Really hoping your don't have a fire like I did. Mine were great until the fire. It started on a neighbor's place 3/4 of a mile away. Now I use nothing but steel.
BHB Sorry about that. Hope I don't have one, either. Got a good deal on some and Ya gotta use what ya got so I will use them. That and for corner posts.

Depends how many are 3" and how many are bigger diameter.

How the heck do you get em that cheap, price is almost double up here!

Yup now everyone gets the beauty of post hole digging in heavy clay soil with 4-5 inch diameter wood posts for all the steel posted southern folk. :lol2:
 
not sure what type wood but some are like driveng a nail into steal bent several staples.they go in 1/2 way an thats it like hitting steal !
