Feedlot Pen Riders

Just wondering if anyone on here works, or has worked in a feedlot, and if so how did you like it?

My brother just started with a feed lot in the Texas panhandle. He's riding pens right now, and taking in a few horses to ride. From some of his stories, it sounds like quite the experience.

No, but the pens at the outfit I work for are huge and set up like feedlot pens. It is quite the experience. All my past experiences with pens were tying the horses and going afoot. In the big pens we do everything except run the squeeze with a horse. It's just too dang far to walk to bring cattle from a pen to the crowding tub. And the crowding tub gate is so big, we tied a rope to it and dally it off to open and shut it.
