This time of year assuming you have grass I’d just be giving them mineral and an occasional bag of feed to keep them gentle and responsive. I don’t push my bulls or heifers.
 
I feed my replacements good grass if available. Along with free choice minerals, free choice hay, and 4-5 lbs of feed per head/per day.
