feeding waste yogurt to cattle

I'm looking for anyone that has any knowledge about feeding waste yogurt or milk to cattle? We can get yogurt at 10% solids(1# DM/gal)consitancy of thick milk. What are the results? Cows get to much condition? etc. any info would be appreciated. Thanks

most animals turn lacto-intolerant (even some human races do) after they are weaned. i would definetely not try this feed on my cattle, but if you want to be sure, check with the vet, or a nutritionalist from a feed company or uni should be able to give you the correct advice.
