got some heavy 4 to heavy 5 weight calves still on cows ...need to either sell or wean them ...is there an advantage in feeding them till mid january hoping market will get better..or sell them now..? im in middle tenessee..thanks for the advise.

Got to go through the right steps to get the top. 45+ days weaned, 2rnds of vaccines.
I'd wean 'em and feed 'em. This market is going to stay good for a while.

Vaccinate and feed are key words here. Making sure they are steers and dehorned adds more money left.
