I baled some corn stalks this year for the first time. I don't have a grinder or vertical mixer. I was wondering if there was anything that I could topdress the stalks with when I put them out for the cows, thay would encourage them to eat them better. Thanks

Molasses will help sprinkled on it. Also put the corn stalk out in the morning and hay out in evening. Make sure you short them on the hay to make them want to eat the stalks.

My cattle are just greedy cause I had some baled and soon as they saw the roll they went to town with no toping needed.
