Feeding 4-h calfs

I have 2 heifers to show in4-h on july 25. One weighs 700 and the other 825. What would be a good ration to feed . Feed I have acess to is corn and oats. Ihave very good praire hay.

If you can get access to a sweet feed ration, that would be a good idea. It comes already mixed and is very palatable so the calves will eat it.

Find a good show feed specifically formulated for show calves. Ask others with experience what is available that they've had good performance from. Using a good feed that keeps the calf on feed with good performance really won't cost much more and you'll get better results. MHO.
