What is a good ration for feeding show cattle? I want something I can develop heifers and bulls on to get optimum growth and muscle development. Any suggestions is appreciated.

The ration we have been using for the past 15 years for heifer, steers, and bulls, and everything in between. LOL
1200 lbs of corn
250 lbs of 32% protein supplement
12 lbs of cattle mineral
100 lbs of oat
(took oats out lately because the price is sky high)
Now let me give you some advice. Once you have a ration idea talk to your feed mill and see what the feed manger has to say on nut. values and cost. Then start talking to someone that feeds show cattle. Make a ration is the easy part, but you have to know how to feed them. We have been doing it for 15 years and it still gets tricky with some animals, and it takes years to get the feeding down pat.
