I came across what I think might be a pretty decent deal on three feed bins. They were reworked two years ago and have new bolts and washers throughout. Total age of them is less than 5 years old. The augers are only two years old. Don't know the exact tonnage but they look like they will hold about 22-25 tons each. But between the three of them I know they will hold at least one semi-load of feed. I can get them for $1000.
Not that I feed much but I am set up for stockering except I don't have a way to store bulk feed as yet. Was considering a bulk barn. But then again, I may not ever stocker but I'd like to be able to do so if I wanted. This is the only thing I'm lacking. With that in mind, I was wondering what your take is on this trade. They are in excellent shape but I will have to move them and pour a pad. Opinions appreciated.
