Never seen the valco brand, I have a GWS brand I bought used last yr. Seems bit lighter than some but works great for me at half the price. Mine is a 3ton portable model. I wanted portable in case theres a surcharge again due to fuel prices I can go get myself, otherwise I have it delivered.
I used this to find a dealer, called them and priced new GWS bins. Ask about used bins. They got a few ordered in, put in new wheel bearings etc. I paid $1100 for mine. Like I mentioned there are heavier built bins, but I get 5loads or less a year, works great.
I just now saw your post...I use Performance Feeds in Lawrenceburg...they gave me the name of a guy that handles used bins...got mine from him and set it up on crossties...stationary bin. It is the best thing I have done...cost 1200...don't know where you are located but he delivers and sets up with a FEL that I have. Get 3 ton loads..pm me if u want more info
