I thought it may be fitting for this festive season to share some pics amoungst ourselves of something we treasure or trust or just fancy. Could be your granchild, your spouse, dog, bull, bulldozer...just about anything ;-) . Come join in............ :santa: .

To start with here is a pic of a hectic dust storm we had 2 weeks ago. You can only imagine the amount of dust that landed in the house :shock: .

Ain't figured out how to post pics from this iPad. So here is a pic of my son Jack >> :wave: << he is 15 months old and was a surprise. Since I didn't have a son he has been an absolute joy. The tractor is his favorite thing in the world. Ain't he a handsome little dude? :)

Of course I'm thankful for my wife and kids, and the rest of my family. I'm also very thankful for this place. It goes back in my family several generations and I was able to buy it this year from family. It means a lot to me to have it, and the Lord has blessed me this year.

3wayX - It would seem that your pics bring back good memories. I wish I had have got a couple of my dad in his later years but he was always a bit camera shy, said it was an invasion of his privacy 8) .

Found another one from an Elk hunt in Sept 2006. One of my favorites. I use it for wallpaper sometimes when I get tired of cow pictures. This was an incredible fall one of the wettest on record and we picked wild mushrooms until the end of Sept.

This is one of my favorite shots. I call it "a pair of pooped puppies". Granddaughter came to visit, brought her hyper little dog, too. I ran them ragged, my philosophy has always been that a tired kid is a good kid, goes double for dogs. I still had enough energy left to fix a good dinner while they were napping. Grandma rules!

This is one I am proud of, too. The skid loader didn't have enough reach to set the trusses when we built our barn, so my better half took some junk metal and his welder and created a "truss picker upper" that attached to the forks. It worked like a charm.

I've always liked this one of my daughter Teal.

And this one is funny to me. Its the day a group of my calves went missing and I spent two hours checking fences and stuff to see where the calves got out only to learn that all 20 or so had taken up residence in the old house.

Then there's my side kick.
