Farm boots

Do you wear your farm boots till they are ragged before you turf them out?

These have been through the mill, reckon they have about a month's more wear. A little polish does wonders though :D

They look new compared to mine...the ones I'm wearing are my sons old ones he threw in the dumpster ..luckily I found em before it went to the road.when I'm done with them, hopefully they will still resemble boots..

I do not see anything wrong with those boots. Should get 6 months to a year more.

I wear them until they break apart. Then replace. I don't push them too far. Feet are the most important part of the body and I treat them as such.

I definitely wear them plum out before I'll change, note, I usually have a pair that have seen limited wear, but are comfortable. I just won't put a new pair of boots through what an old pair has been through, until I have no choice. Old boots are wonderful.

I hate to break in a new pair of boots. I wear old school red wings and that first couple weeks is pretty rough.

I have two pairs of boot. A nice pair for church and a comfortable pair (that I wear everyday). :)



Redwing 1178 (I think) usually last me 2 yrs/pair.

With my arthritis in my feet and still doing construction I wear Kenetrek Hardscrabble boots.

Not cheap but i don't care!

You have hog rings holding the soles onto the upper?? :lol: :lol:

I saw that but they were called Hiking Boots. I'm hoping they have something less expensive under plain old work boots.

Work boots still pretty steep. But I have not bought any work boots in ages. I wear a pair of doctor scolls slippers made for people that work on their feet all day long.
