Dear Friends, I have grown up and learnt my lessons and now I want to move on with my life. I have listened to your alls post for quite sometime now and some of them were great and some weren't. I have five things in my life that I have been blessed with; God, Family, Friends, my girlfriend, and herefords. God speed to you all and I am going to pay more attention to my herefords, my girlfriend, family and friends along with Gods help. I tell you what, if there is anyone, anyone, that would like to ever contact me, jsut let me know and I will send you my number through PM. I am not afarid to talk with anyone about hereford cattle or whatever. I can't till the fall of 2009, it will be a blessed day for me and my farm. My reputation is being built back nicely and I am now just moving on with my life.

Again, take care everyone and this is the end, I mean it, no more returns back. I have matured into a new person now.

I have read many derogatory remarks towards him. Here's a challenge for one and all if you have no skeletons, not any, not one skeleton in your closet feel free to cast stones.

Quality Cattle, there was a time, soon after I came to this board, that I defended Matt when I saw others riding him.

I remember Alan defended him as well...as I'm sure several others have during his tenure posting here.

I've spent some time in the last few days and actually went back and LOOKED at some of Matt's posts made shortly after his arrival here, back in late 2004 and 2005. Long before I came to this board.

If you'll examine the record, you'll be able to find a NUMBER of smarta$$ed remarks that Matt made!

Here is but one example:

Ollie, let me tell you something. You need to find out just who has sold bulls to Semex, ABS, or Genex, because I think NO body on this board has done that. I have a bull calf right know, that is going to probably Select Sires. Don't you be telling me to TONE it down. I am proud of my herd, and I will personally say whatever I got to say about it. YOu probably don't even know how much money and time and labor I have spent to get to where I am now. And if I want to talk about how great my herd is, then I will, without listening to what you have to say. And that goes for everybody else. Everybody else talks about there herd and shows off there cattle with pictures and if I want to I am going to do the same thing. Ollie just shut your mouth and can it! :mad:

And I tried the "private message" thing with Matt! If you could read the PMs that I sent him when the "Style" deal was going on, you'd see that the messages that I've recently posted on the public boards are very tame in comparison.

If any more "latecomers"(like I was) have the desire to defend Matt, I would suggest that you go back and read the body of his posts, posted under several IDs here, before you do it.

I WISH I had done that before I defended him!

If you take the time to actually do that, you'll find that his actions here, along with being self-defeating, are indefensible.

I don't hate Matt, I hate what he's doing (mostly to himself) here. He has recently confessed to having problems and having been in rehab/counseling. Whether that is actually true, given the history of prevarication in his past statements, I don't know.

But there is little doubt in my mind if Matt had properly relayed to his counselor his history here and the ongoing problems that he's had on this board, his counselor would have recommended that he throw the computer out with the bottles of booze...or at least disconnect it from the Internet.

I am just amazed that you found an identity of Matt's other than THG that has not been deleted completely by the forum management. His really OVER the top performances (like the faked suicide and reported how many big ranchers were attending the funeral and the time he created a fake alter egoe rancher that was giving testimonials about how great Hill bred cattle were or the time he was creating a Hill Creek West ranch out in California and was buying out Beartooth Ranch Gelbvieh) were deleted into oblivion. I too was once a Hill defender......'that COULD be true', 'Hill was just exaggerating', 'Hill should be commended for his hard work', 'Don't beat up on Hill', 'Hold judgement till Hill's first annual production sale', 'Hill's herd is real, because I read his ads in the Hereford World', etc. You feel so stupid, after more saavy posters or Matt himself prove that you were defending an out and out lie, that I for one have over compensated a little in recent days.

There's one on every forum it seems-there was a guy on realtree.com that another member found a job out west-he never showed up because he said his parents were in a bad car accident. He got found out when people tried to send flowers to the hospital. I don't know THG from Adam but hopefully he gets his act straightened out for his sake at least.

We havnt agreed from time to time on how Hill has been handled here. But this last post hits the nail on the head.
I hope Matt is telling the truth this time and will come back here when he is well.

Unfortunately, that would be like letting him "take a little drink" every now and then. It's an addiction and abstinence is the best cure.

I think the admin/mods here do a great job overall! One thing they are is consistent. Having done the job, I can tell you THAT alone is a hard task!

What I HOPE that they would do regarding Matt is make it difficult for him to register here again, and make his tenure here short if he did....and every time he did.

That would be an act of "charity" on their part, as I am certain that Matt's presence posting here increases traffic, which increases advertising exposure, which increases revenue.

Brandonm chill this is an internet chat board the way this guy is carrying over Hill THG and whoever he was last week, he might have one of those pretend herds as well. If you going to build an air castle build a big one cost the same price.
