Far Away Show

I want to attend a show that is about 8 hours away. I will take 2 heifers and a young bull. Do I tie their lead ropes like I do when we go to an hour away show or do I leave them loose so they can lay down? Do I stop to let them drink water? Any suggestions?

When trucking cattle for a distance, we pen them instead of tying high. We have plenty of bedding to keep them clean, and depending on the temperature, we'll stop to water along the way every couple of hours. Ask others for what they do in your area! V
