Fall spraying in deep grass

I started in the spring working the place over with Grazenext. Excellent results on summer weeds so far. Now I'm going for thistle and Buttercup. I am stockpiling fescue. My question is this. With 8-10 fescue will this herbicide still get to the thistle and Buttercup to kill it. Summer grass is still present as well. So it's a thick stand together. Or should I spray these paddocks in early spring?

Not enough will reach them to do any good. Save the diesel and spray in the late spring.

I agree. I have never sprayed in the fall.

Have you checked under the grass to see if the weeds are already sprouting? It seems that if the grass is that thick there would little opportunity for the weeds to get a start.
