I have a friend who wants to get into some F1 cows. He want to run brahma cows on hereford bulls. Will that give him what he wants or will he end up with a braford? He has already bought the brahmas so its already done but its something ive been wandering about

He will end up with F1 Brafords. F1's are first generation crosses and they can make some of the best cows in the South. The females will usually bring a premium but the steers will get discounted.
 
He will have f1 Brafords, and I don't see anything wrong with that, hopefully he will have all heifers and start a nice set of cows.

That's why I like my Brangus Hereford cross. Good market for the heifers and steers.
