Ethical Editing?

How many of you would consider this photo to be edited ethicly and if not why not?

when i was in St Joseph for a meeting, they took us on a tour at the journal. Of greatest interest to me was the composing department where the put together sale booklets. I asked that same question of the graphic artists.
They told me that their ethical standards dictated that they must not alter the confirmation of the animal. Tilting, cleaning or changing contrast and or backgrouds however was/is OK.

yea taking the dock out of the background cut a little of the hair on the tail head out. thats why i am asking if this would be considered ethical or not.

This changes her so little that it's not really a breach of ethics in my book. Yet if others notice it they can likley cry foul. Another poster mentioned removing posts fence etc. this is not a problem.

I don't see anything wrong with it. You didn't alter the heifer, just cleaned her and the background up. I still think she's pretty. :D

I think I would have tried to get another pic with a better background, two front legs and not so much back stretch on the back right but I guess you have you reasons :D
