Electric hay spike pump

I am finally growing enough to justify a flatbed with a hay spikes. I have been looking at different brands online. Trying to figure how to afford the bed.

I was liking the Bradford, but I realized it has an electric spike pump rather than hydraulic. S

Anyone have experience with this? Is electric okay?

For occassional use I like the slide in units.
Electric over hydraulic.

Electric pumps are plenty for a spike. If you go to an arm bed you’ll sure appreciate the increased output of an engine driven pump.
