Yes I killed a 3 footer 2 years ago. I thought my chickens were under producing. Ever since I got my Guinea fowls I've only seen one snake in the yard this whole year. They run them off. They are freaking comical. Love those birds. They earn their feed. Keep snake and insect populations down.
I don't kill snakes but the poisonous ones, but when I see a snake in a tree i see it as evil and I want to kill it.
Even when I know it's a harmless snake
When we were kids the last things my mother would say as we went out the door was watch for snakes.
To this day I walk looking down watching for snakes, even when I'm in town or Walmart I'm watching the floor.
Snakes aren't supposed to be in trees

All I saw was stripes and stuck the tater fork in it , didn't realize it was just a banded water snake till it were too late.
