those are the conditions here today, about 4 to 6 inches so far, with another 4 to 6 expected by this evening. This is the real wet heavy stuff, 2 highways have been closed so far. Ugh !

And to think, earlier this week we had hit 70!

Just talked to my Mom who lives in central Wisconsin. She says they have about 5-6 inches and still snowing pretty hard. Was 72 here yesterday, about 60 right now, and they're calling for a possible 1-2 inches early tomorrow. Ground too warm for it to stick, though.

Oh, I don't mind hearing about the warm temps, I'll probably be changing my tune come about February tho...I'll be pretty tired of the cold by then :)

I wouldn't think this snow will stick around long for us either, frost hasn't hit the ground too hard yet. I pounded a bunch of t-posts in the ground last weekend with no problems.

Unless it stays cold enough and we end up with a thick layer of ice between the snow and the ground, that can make life tough for us and the cattle!

First snowfall of the year, and it's a bugger makes driving darn near suicidal

Michele :D
