Don't you know that black cattle don't do well in hot, southern cimates? ;-)

Why would Angus breeders be interested? They look more like a replacement for Brahmans than for Angus.
 
I agree that black cattle do not take the heat, being Sanga theDrakensberger was developed from heat resistant native cattle in the hot, humid bushveld of South Africa.
Better quality beef than the Brahman but a medium frame.I mentioned Angus as they Cross well with Sanga cattle resulting in a high degree of Heterosis, while guaranteeing the black colouration presently desired.
I have always bred the Tuli, a yellow through to deep red Sanga breed presently being bred in America, I just asked about the Drakensberger to stimulate a little interest.
 
i have been trying to find a Tuli breeder in Australia cant find any, i know people are using tuli genetics. what is the cost of importing embryos from SA to australia.

Topsquar; I only know of one importation of Tuli by Australia,which involved quarentining of the recipient cows at great expense, but the Australian breeders were prepared to cover the expense of the bio-security measures because they understood the value of the breed. The best I can suggest is to contact the South African Tuli breeders;
